At Student Affairs, our commitment to student employees continues to grow as the SELFIE (Student Employee, Leader, Fellow, and Intern Engagement) program evolves to expand professional growth, skill development, and career readiness for more than 700 student employees. To build on this work, Student Affairs is partnering with the Office of Undergraduate Studies’ Learn + Earn program, offering undergraduate student employees the opportunity to earn a $400 stipend per semester and access additional benefits by engaging in high-impact professional development experiences.

At Student Affairs, students are at the center of everything we do. Each department across our division plays a unique role in supporting students and shaping their experience at the University of Utah. But the impact of our work is only possible because of the dedication, compassion, and collaboration of our staff and campus partners. Each year, Student Affairs proudly presents two awards—the Vice President for Student Affairs Service Excellence Award and the Student Affairs Campus Partner of the Year Award—to recognize individuals who go above and beyond in service of students, colleagues, and the broader campus community.
