After more than five years of transformative leadership at the University of Utah, Dr. Bryan Hubain will be departing his role as associate vice president for Student Development & Community for Student Affairs. He will be joining Tulane University as Assistant Vice President for Strategy and Engagement.
Student Affairs welcomes Stephen Henninger as the new director for Residential Education. Student Affairs and Auxiliary Services are preparing for significant growth in Housing and Residential Education, including adding 5,000 campus beds. Henninger is aiming to enhance student engagement and professional development.
Dr. Rachel Aho has been appointed as the new Assistant Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff to the Vice President for Student Affairs. She will lead the Adapting to Student Needs strategic plan and oversee key departments. Dr. Aho brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to student success.
Annalisa Purser, Chief of Staff for Student Affairs, will transition to a new role with the Board of Trustees at the University of Utah by the end of March. Rachel Aho, Sr. Director of Housing, will assume some of Purser's responsibilities part-time. Student Affairs appreciates Purser's contributions and welcomes Aho's leadership.
