This honor, achieved by only 12% of colleges nationwide, reflects the university's proactive approach to addressing critical issues like sexual assault, substance misuse, mental health, and inclusion. Through mandatory and ongoing online trainings, the university ensures students are equipped with essential life skills for success on campus and beyond.
The "I am U Thriving" event on February 8, 2023, hosted by the Student Development and Inclusion office, saw participation from under 50 students, staff, and faculty. Participants appreciated the platform to share their stories and expressed a desire for more frequent events. Feedback highlighted the empowerment and positive impact of the event.
