Claudia Navarro, the first woman of color to serve as director, has been appointed as the University Counseling Center's first director for Clinical Services. With nearly 10 years of experience, she will oversee clinical operations and support expanded services, including the Stepped Care Model.
Christine Anderson has been appointed as the director of the Center for Disability & Access, starting Jan. 23, 2023. With extensive experience in rehabilitation counseling and disability services, she will oversee a staff of 16 and ensure campus-wide accessibility and universal design.
Shigeo Iwamiya, with over 20 years of experience in Residential Education, has been appointed as the director of Residential Education at the University of Utah, starting Jan. 17, 2023. He brings expertise in program creation and initiatives, and is excited to support the transformation of the campus.
