Black Veterans of Utah Exhibit

The University of Utah's Veterans Support Center will host the Black Veterans of Utah Exhibit from October 28 to November 4 in the Union Lobby. Presented by the Sema Hadithi African American Heritage & Culture Foundation, the exhibit aims to preserve and share Utah's Black history through research, culture, and arts.

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the University Counseling Center (UCC) collaborates with partners across the University of Utah on the Red Flag/Green Flag Project. This initiative engages students, staff, and faculty in a campus-wide dialogue about interpersonal violence through a communal art project featuring red and green flags.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) is an annual campaign to raise awareness about domestic violence and support survivors. The Center for Campus Wellness aims to educate the campus community about different types of abuse, prevent violence, and build community using “listen, believe, refer.”

The LGBT Resource Center at the University of Utah is celebrating 20 years of support, community, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ students. Founded in 2002, the center has grown from a small gathering space to a pivotal resource offering programs and events. As the center looks to the future, it aims to create a campus where LGBTQIA+ students thrive, supported by a community engaged in dismantling oppressive systems.
