New Veterans Support Center Director

Fa’ama’i (Fa’a) Taupa’u

Fa’ama’i (Fa’a) Taupa’u has been appointed as the director of the Veterans Support Center (VSC). Fa’a, who previously served as the associate director of Dining Management at University of Utah Housing and Residential Education, brings over 23 years of military experience to the role. He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and an M.A. in Management and Leadership. Fa’a will begin his new role on May 23, 2022.

Impactful artwork

The Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs acquired a painting through a partnership with the University Union and Ayudame Guate. Proceeds from selling the artwork benefited both the Union's Scholarship Fund and Ayudame Guate.
