Chartwells Higher Education’s retail-inspired residential station at the U has been recognized by Food Management as a 2022 Best Concept Awards winner in the Best Station Concept category. This award recognizes Chartwells and the U’s excellence in bringing a new and innovative initiative to a residential dining hall.

As we strive to help students discover their passion, people and purpose, our strategic plan will help us focus our efforts and be innovative as we adapt to the diverse, changing needs of our students. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to brainstorm and submit their ideas so we could arrive at the final name together.
The Student Affairs Staff Wellness Committee aims to create a comprehensive and holistic culture of health and wellness within Student Affairs. We do so by supporting and empowering staff members in their wellness journeys, assisting individual departments as they work towards prioritizing wellness, and pursuing initiatives to address many dimensions of wellness.
As Interim AVP, Kathy worked directly with the Center for Disability and Access, Counseling Center, Student Health Center, and Center for Student Wellness. In just a short time, she had a tremendous impact on our community as her leadership helped with the JED campus initiative and in adding more accessible mental health services for our students.
