Matt Phister has been named director of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) after serving as interim director since July 2022. He will oversee program development, risk management, and leadership promotion for the fraternity and sorority community.

Erica Andersen will assume the role of Associate Dean of Student Engagement and Leadership. She will enhance student engagement and leadership efforts within Student Affairs and campus partners. Andersen, an experienced Higher Education practitioner, has a background in student leadership development and has served in various capacities across the university.
Jake Lemon will continue as the director of Assessment & Analytics (A&A) for Student Affairs after serving as interim director for 10 months. His role involves leading the department, enhancing business decision-making capabilities through business intelligence applications, and tracking progress on the Student Affairs strategic plan. Lemon is also an adjunct professor in the Education, Leadership, and Policy program at the University of Utah.
LaRhonda Johnson Horton will join Student Affairs as Director of Student Support and Accountability on Nov. 1, 2022. This new role, in partnership with Housing and Residential Education and the Office of the Dean of Students, aims to streamline efforts for a cohesive student experience.
Dr. Scott McAward, previously director of the Center for Disability & Access, has been appointed executive director of the University Counseling Center. He brings extensive experience from roles at the University of Iowa, Ohio State, and the U. Sid Davis will be interim CDA director.
