Important notice: Protect yourself from phishing scams

Lori McDonald, Vice President for Student Affairs, warns staff about phishing emails impersonating her. She emphasizes that official communications will always come from her @utah.edu email and never request gift cards or sensitive information. Staff should report suspicious emails to the university’s IT security team.

The Student Employee workshop series offers monthly professional development opportunities focused on communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Workshops include topics like effective team communication, avoiding the Drama Triangle, identifying strengths, and negotiation strategies. Participants are encouraged to attend two workshops each semester.
