Rachel Aho to serve as President of ACPA-College Student Educators International

Rachel E. Aho, Ph.D., Director of Housing in Student Affairs at the University of Utah, was inducted as the 85th president of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA): College Student Educators International on March 20, 2024 at the ACPA Convention in Chicago, Illinois. Aho is the first ACPA President from the University of Utah.

UCC Partnership with MCVP

In an ongoing effort to support our students effectively, the University Counseling Center has partnered with the McCluskey Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) to introduce a new collaborative position. This joint role as the associate director of violence prevention and mental health counseling, filled by Jarad Ringer, LCSW, aims to create a safer and more inclusive campus environment by offering specialized counseling to students who have caused harm in dating and sexual relationships.
