Crisis Response

HMHI Crisis Line

The HMHI Crisis Line offers 24/7 crisis response, including crisis support over the phone, a mobile outreach option that will respond to individuals in their homes, and the Receiving Center where individuals from Salt Lake County can access a safe and supportive environment.

Mental Health First Responders (MH1)

The MH1 provides after-hours crisis response for students living in Housing and Residential Education.

Safe UT App

The free App and Tip Line is a statewide service that provides real-time crisis intervention to youth through live chat and a confidential tip program, all accessible from a smartphone.

Counseling

University Counseling Center

The UCC offers individual, group and couples counseling, as well as crisis appointments and low-cost psychiatric medication management. These services help students resolve existing problems, prevent potential problems, and develop new skills that will enrich their lives.

Behavioral Health Innovation and Dessimination Center

The Behavioral Health Innovation and Dissemination Center is a low fee, mental and behavioral health clinic from the Department of Psychology that is open to adults, children, and couples residing in Utah.

Utah Community Mental Health Clinic

The Utah Community Health Clinic (formerly known as the Psychoeducational Clinic) serves children, adolescents, adults, and their families. In addition to assessment, our services include individual therapy services for adults, adolescents, children, students and non-students.

Skills Workshops & Mindfulness Programs

The University Counseling Center offers a range of self-guided meditations, self-help resources, and various workshops. Students can find resources to assist them in moments of stress, anxiety, and chaos.

Wellness Coaching

Provided by the Center for Campus Wellness, students can participate in one-on-one collaborative conversations with coaches who will guide them in achieving their health and wellness goals. Our wellness coaches will help students take small, attainable steps towards improving their well-being.

Wellness Workshops

The Center for Campus Wellness provides training and workshops for students, faculty, and staff on topics related to stress management, bystander intervention, healthy relationships, and more.
