Student Affairs Welcomes Pam Logan as Campus Events Manager

Pam Logan Pam Logan has joined the Student Engagement & Leadership team as the new campus events manager, bringing her energy and expertise to enrich campus life. In this role, Logan will report to Erica Andersen, senior associate dean for Student Engagement & Leadership, and work closely with  various Student Affairs and campus partners to plan, coordinate, and oversee a wide array of student-focused events. Her responsibilities include not only event planning and management but also streamlining the Student Affairs master calendar, coordinating with event teams to avoid overlap, and supporting President Randall's vision of “College Town Magic.”

“Pam has such a passion for creating vibrant and memorable events, and it really shows,” said Andersen. “Her collaborative spirit and attention to detail are going to make a real difference for our students and campus community.”

Logan’s path to this role is rooted in her extensive experience at the University of Utah. She began in a purchasing role for facilities eight years ago, later transitioning to events management at the S.J. Quinney School of Law school in 2022. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications from the university, which equipped her with valuable insights for event planning.

“I love putting on events because I get to see my work come to fruition,” said Logan. “I get to create an experience, a moment for people to engage in an activity they may not otherwise have done. But my favorite part is seeing the reactions and feeling the energy of the participants.”

Outside of work, Logan and her husband are avid outdoors enthusiasts, often camping or paddleboarding. She’s also a baker, a book lover, and the proud parent of Milo, her mini- Australian shepherd, and Speck, a bright orange gecko with a purple tail.
