Iwamiya  has provided a short introduction below.

I bring with me over 20 years of experience from six different institutions.  One of my personal mottos is, “Give back more than we take.” And this is what drives me to commit to the institutions I work with and am continuously looking to find ways to get involved in communities to make it a home. I am excited to join the Housing and Residential Education team at the University of Utah because of the exciting opportunity to be part of a transformation of a campus, and actively supporting and evolving the dynamic work of the Residential Education team.  During my free time, I serve as the Commissioner (through 12/31/2022) of the National Gay Flag Football League and support the local and national leagues through events and leagues.  I also love to travel and enjoy taking pictures and posting them to Instagram from all the fun locations.

Please join Student Affairs in welcoming Iwamiya to the U!
