Thank You Pride Week Planning Committee
The University of Utah has commemorated their 10th annual Pride Week April 1st, 2023!
This year’s theme for Pride Week was Unstoppable, a note on the rich history, culture, and lives of our LGBTQIA+ community.
Pride week was celebrated with many exciting events such as validating and educational workshops, a memorable drag show to a full house of new and old patrons of drag, a markers market of local queer and ally vendors, a very rad talent competition, and sensational queer prom. Due to immense support from both allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Pride Week at the U was nothing short of amazing.
We would like to thank and acknowledge the resiliency, authenticity, and dedication of this year’s Pride Week committee, whose efforts made this year’s Pride Week possible:
