Introducing the Student Affairs wheel

The Student Affairs homepage and Vice President Lori McDonald's social media have been updated with some new graphics that are now being used to market and communicate about the work Student Affairs does to support student well-being and success at the U.

With more than 20 departments, each doing important and unique work, it is a challenge to describe all that Student Affairs does on campus. This wheel, which is divided into four categories, is intended to help campus partners, faculty, and students better understand the diverse ways we are here to help.

The purpose of this wheel is to support student well-being and success. The Student Affairs wheel is broken into four categories; Equity & Inclusion, Health & Wellness, Engagement & Leadership, and Places & Spaces. Each category has different centers or services associated with it. Equity & Inclusion has the Women's Resource Center, the Veteran's Support Center, the LGBT Resource Center, TRIO, and the Center for Disability and Access. Health & Wellness has the University Counseling Center, the Center for Student Wellness, the Student Health Center, the Financial Wellness Center, and the Basic Needs Collective. Engagement & Leadership has Student Leadership & Involvement, the Bennion Community Engagement Center, Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Career & Professional Development Center, and Student Accountability & Support. Places & Spaces has Campus Recreation Services, the Center for Child Care and Family Resources, Housing & Residential Education, Dining Services, and the Union.

All Student Affairs departments are encouraged to include the slide above in marketing and outreach efforts. Download a copy of this slide along with various versions for social media.
