Mental Health First Aid Certification

student studying in roomStudent Affairs is committed to the holistic well-being and emotional support of our campus community. Thanks to the generous grant from the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, the Center for Student Wellness provides Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training for interested students, staff, and faculty. Similar to a medical first aid training, MHFA is an international education program proven to be effective in teaching adults how to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.
