About Us

The Student Affairs Sustainability Committee (SASC) was formed in 2007 under the direction of Vice President Barb Snyder.

The SASC focuses on the following four objectives:

• Educates and serves as a resource to student affairs staff on sustainability issues.
• Organizes behavioral-change initiatives in student affairs that support and encourage sustainable practices within the division.
• Supports sustainable events and initiatives organized by students or student groups.
• Collaborates with other University of Utah Green Teams and the Office of Sustainability.
