SELFIE

The Student Employee Fellow Intern Engagement (SELFIE) program has been developed to support infrastructure, centralize processes, and provide resources for student employees and supervisors in Student Affairs. We support student well-being and success by creating infrastructure that supports holistic learning, development, career readiness, and preparation of student employees in Student Affairs.

This program’s primary strategic objectives are to improve infrastructure and improve student outcomes and satisfaction.

At Student Affairs, we recognize that campus jobs offer valuable opportunities for students to develop skills that benefit them both personally and professionally. To better support our student employees, we invited over 800 student employees and interns to participate in the 2024 Student Employee Engagement Survey.

Student Employee Workshops Offer Professional Development Opportunities

The Student Employee workshop series provides monthly professional development opportunities for student employees, leaders, fellows, and interns. Grounded in the Conscious Leadership Model, these workshops focus on building communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Participants are encouraged to select two workshops each semester to enhance their personal and professional growth.
