Student Affairs IT Support

Student Affairs provides its departments with IT and desktop support through an embedded department within University Information Technology (UIT). Student Affairs employees should follow the steps below to request service.

Request Ticket Options

A request ticket is when you need something done, but it is not a break/fix scenario.

  • Call the help desk. This is the quickest way to submit a request ticket. Call 801-581-4000 and choose option 1.

  • Submit ticket online. Click here and log in with your CIS credentials to send a request ticket directly to the University Campus Computer Support team (UCCS).

  • Email the help desk. This is the slowest method of getting a ticket entered. A ticket may not reach UCCS for 1-2 business days. Helpdesk@utah.edu

Incident Ticket Options

An incident ticket is used to report break/fix issues.

  • Call the help desk. This is the quickest way to submit an incident ticket. Call 801-581-4000 and choose option 1.
  • Submit ticket online.  Click here and log in with your CIS credentials to send a request ticket directly to the University Campus Computer Support team (UCCS).
